At Work Advertising Recruitment began operating in late 2000 and was officially launched on the 8th January 2001 and has permission from the Department of Labour to conduct a private employment office (Registration No. 3780). The company has two members, Adrienne Parker and Lynda Milligan, who are equal partners in the business. Prior to opening the company both partners specialised in the industry for four and seven years respectively, with a jointly accumulated 19-year's experience.

We are a very specialised agency, and the most niched in the creative recruitment industry. We are the only creative recruitment company that lectures and mentors students at the various institutions in Johannesburg and Pretoria. Our briefs are portfolio driven and our solid reputation in the industry is due to the fact that we assess portfolios properly.
We concentrate on creative positions across the board. Our clients include Corporates, Advertising Agencies (Above, Below and Thru-The-Line), Design Houses, Multimedia and Web Development facilities. Although most of our professional search and recruitment services are utilised by many of the 500 related companies in Gauteng, we also service clients in Durban, Cape Town, Mafikeng, the Middle East, Canada, Tanzania, Egypt, Singapore and the U.S.A.

On Call Creative Freelancers was established in 2002 and is totally dedicated to placing creative freelancers. Since this company's inception we have found a growing need for contract workers.
