Africa Day Celebrations by Leon van Greunen

I hope that as you approach the 45th Africa Day Celebrations on the 25th, that you will observe appropriately a moment of silence, to mourn the brutal deaths of fellow Africans murdered in the Xenophobic attacks in Gauteng. Surely it would be wiser to postpone the celebrations? Will you be able to assure safety & security given the violence in the area?
