IN SUPPORT OF NATURE CONSERVATION

One of Cape Towns hottest social events of the year, "My Coke Fest", is just around the corner and approaching quickly! Hosting great international and local bands such as Guns 'n Roses, Evanescence, 3 Doors Down, Hoobastank, Parlotones. and many more! This festival, being held at Kenilworth Racecourse on 1 May 2007 is sure to ROCK!!

Not only is Kenilworth Racecourse host to My Coke Fest 2007 but it is also home to a staggering 279 plant species! The 42 hectare Kenilworth Racecourse Conservation Area (KRCA) situated in the middle of the racecourse has been identified as the best example of Sand Plain Fynbos remaining in the Cape Peninsula! It has 19 endangered plant species and the critically endangered Micro Frog which also make it a particularly valuable site.

Due to the biological importance of this site 225 tickets have been allocated to KRCA to raise funds for the conservation of this special site. Please assist us in conserving this natural treasure by purchasing a ticket for My Coke Fest from KRCA. Tickets for this cause are selling for the bargain prise of R 300, instead of the normal prise of R 375!
