Google is a demigod  by  Rob Dickens
Google is omniscient - it knows all things about all things. I'm on google, but not really internationall since the surname Dickens crops up ridiculously. But still search South Africa only and I have some seriously dubious articles out there. Wonder if my employer would enjoy it hehehe

Nevertheless, your Doppelgoogle is someone of the same name somewhere in the world, from the word Doppelganger.

I googled you  by  Some Dairy Bloke
I googled "30 year old virgin" and it came back with "Rob Dickens" …weird, it works backwards too.

It's worth a try  by  Christine Nxumalo
It gives you more than the CV or the company profile does ... there is no harm done.

It works if you're Ryk Neethling  by  infectious agent
...or someone else with vast experience or a large body of work (artistic etc.). But what if you're just entering the job market? Not every person in South Africa or the world is listed on google. And just because you get a mention on google doesn't mean you're any good. I know way too many brilliant and talented people who wouldn't show up anywhere on google even if you clicked on "I'm feeling lucky"
