Comments on Online Payment

It works well!
Our company very actively promotes the use of the Internet and web-based applications to pay for different services, in particular prepaid electricity and airtime. We've found it to be exceptionally useful and handy to the general public.

Online Payment and its concern  by  ducky
Just want to share some of my experience.

I have moved to HK 5 years ago running a trading business back to South Africa. I also started the online business in 2006. I setup all the web site and online paymeny account in HK and promoting it back here. The acceptance and usage level of online payment is really high I recorded over 30,000 USD just in my first month of web site launch. It was good for months until the Chargeback has come. Baiscly there are a lot of people in our country trying to do fraud business here and I have to lose some money on the claim. Lucky is that the cost and margin of my selling products (electronic goods) is enough to cover this cost. Now the monthly turnover keep increasing but I have to be very careful on handling each order (as the chances of chargeback increases as well).

I think the golden formula is the setup of the web site, correct methods on eMarketing and of course finding the right business partners. I use the following companies.

Marketing:
www.ananzi.co.za, google, yahoo
IT/ Payment:
www.paymentasia.com, to collect the Visa/ MasterCard payment

FYI!
I am heading back for holidays next month. Yeah!
