So, that particular shower curtain, (won a gold loerie) but wait, also got entry in D&AD, you know, the design award in London (that's in a country called England)?! Maybe you should take it up with international award system?
Eagle awards, Cannes and One Show say otherwise, but what do they know.
Jupiter is always an easy target. The best agencies always are. All you need to do is have a look at how Network is being slagged off on another thread. Ogilvy and Hunts have also had their turn as the whipping boys of the idiots who let their egos get in the way of objectivity.

Joanne and Jenny are doing some of the best work in the country and ARE winning international awards and ARE published in international design publications. You cannot apreciate good work and be objective, this is why we don't see your names where Jenny and Joannes are. Spend your time working not winging and you may one day appreciate the talent that surrounds you - god forbid you might learn something. GROW UP. PS. Joanne and Jenny, your work inspires me.

So you think the work Jo and the rest of us did is mediocre? Strange, the Art Directors Club of New York thought it was pretty cool, otherwise they probably wouldn’t have given us that silver. Or communication arts for that matter. Wonder why it appears in all those articles? Hmmmmm?

Listen, son, I know that jealously makes you nasty, and being nasty makes you ugly, and being ugly means you can’t get laid, and not getting laid makes you angry, and being angry stops you from doing great work, and not doing great work makes you jealous of the people who are, so it’s really just a never ending circle of having a really small penis (creatively, and otherwise) I guess.

Jupiter is a nice place with nice people and they don’t deserve some fool picking on them who probably needs exclamation marks for his headlines (I pray that you’re an art director, not a copywriter, otherwise you need to start seriously considering that mail-order accounting course).

I've just wasted a day in court, so why not waste a little more time right now. Do you realise how much energy it takes to be angry? And that being positive is just as easy as being negative if you can change your perspective? How about directing some of that positive energy into what you, as a person lucky enough to be in this industry, are meant to love - ideas. The Buddha had something to say on the matter, "Holding onto anger is like holding onto a hot coal with the intention of throwing it at someone else; you are the one getting burned." Competition is competition. Nobody forces you to go bird hunting, so if a Loerie shits on your shoulder, don't wail about it, shoot higher.
what happened to transparency when it comes to a list of finalists? how are we as students supposed to know where we stand in the hunt for the bird. One other thing, an award for 'The most creative black" is simply pathetic and patronising.
We know who judged the others. And we know that the panel who was supposed to judge the student awards didn't judge the student awards. so are those being judged by some triple A lecturer and his 6-year old kid? because looking at the list, that would make sense. transparency and democracy. please.
