Uganda to host first Africa honey show

Uganda is to host the first honey exhibition in Africa to raise awareness about investment opportunities in honey trade.

“This is a great opportunity for us to participate in the expo dubbed ‘ApiExpo Africa' due in October to share our experiences on the development of bee-keeping and exhibit our bee products with an aim of sourcing for export markets in Africa and Europe,” Florence Katta, the Uganda Export Promotion Board executive director, said.
