First African online ad network launches

Joshua Wanyama, founder of African Path and Benin Brown, editor of Cheetah Index have announced the official launch of Pamoja Media. Pamoja Media is an online advertising network that makes it very easy for marketers to reach the highly fragmented African market within the continent and in the Diaspora.

Joshua Wanyama stated, “Being the first vertical ad network focusing on Africa, it is our goal to make it easier for marketers to reach Africans within the continent and in the Diaspora. The network will also be beneficial for publishers as they will be able to run appropriate ads. These ads convert better on their sites compared to generic networks thus increasing their revenue potential.”
