Call for entries for International Digital Emmy Awards

PARIS & NEW YORK: The deadline for entries for the fourth International Digital Emmy Awards (IDEA) is 12 January 2009, Reed MIDEM and the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (IATAS), announced yesterday, Thursday, 6 November 2008. The awards recognise excellence in content created and designed for viewer interaction and/or delivery on a digital platform originating outside of the US.

Digital platforms include interactive TV, mobile, Internet, etc.

The International Digital Emmy Awards 2009 will include three award categories:

  1. Digital Programme - Fiction
  2. Digital Programme - Non-Fiction
  3. Digital Programme - Children & Young People

Eligible submissions must have been created and initially distributed outside of the US. Winners will be announced at a ceremony during MIPTV 2009, 30 March - 3 April 2009, in Cannes, France.
