A fairy at the Palace
Issued by: The Learning Theatre

After the opening of the two-day Powertech-IST conference at Emperors Palace, the Palace will never be the same again! The Learning Theatre combined forces with Powertech-IST to create an awesome Industrial Theatre show that had the audience gasping and giggling all through the introductory session.

Corine Broomberg as Mavis Malherbe on the left, with Lebohang Elephant as Hondo on the right.

Mari Michael as Super Sadie, the Powertech Fairy on the left with Sello Dlamini as the lazy Lebo Vilikazi.

The writer, Ben Kruger, brings to the stage a fabulous tale of a lazy call centre operator for Horizon Railway named Lebo Vilikazi. Lebo is useless to say the least, he has no idea what he is doing and he also doesn't care. His incompetence eventually drives Mavis Malherbe (a client) and Hondo (one of Horizon's technicians) over the edge and they decide to locate the call centre and force Lebo to ‘feel their pain'. But, luckily, this seemingly explosive situation is quickly resolved by SUPER SADIE, THE POWERTECH FAIRY.

The fabulous four singing The Powertech Anthem.

The actors with Ben Kruger (writer) and Andre Stolz (director) – middle back.

The adventures of these four characters swept the audience away to a different reality... one that reminds all too much of their own situation. This brilliant piece of entertainment gave the audience the ability to see and experience exactly how Powertech-IST can benefit them. By using Industrial Theatre to launch a product, service or idea the potential buyer can relate the story to their own situation and make an informed and value-adding decision.
