USB-ED presents Management Development Programme in Gaborone, Botswana
Issued by: USB-ED

USB Executive Development Ltd (USB-ED) is offering the ideal opportunity for aspiring future business leaders to position themselves favourably in today's demanding business environment with its Management Development Programme (MDP) to be presented in Gaborone, Botswana. It consists of two study schools of which the first one will be taking place from 14 to 18 July 2008.

Over and above acquiring a broader understanding of management and leadership expertise, participants will be equipped with the skills and competencies they need to implement their organisation's strategic objectives. The programme gives a basic understanding of the different fields of management to ensure that managers do not perform their own management functions in isolation.

The target group for this programme is middle managers who are currently managing others, or who have the potential to manage others, or who wish to grow and develop their management abilities.

The programme has been divided into three areas: General Issues - such as general management and leadership; Functional Issues - such as marketing management, people management and financial management; and Integrative Issues - such as the drawing up of business plans and presentation skills.

By following this course, participants from Gaborone have an opportunity to strengthen their management and leadership skills to enhance their careers.

No formal tertiary qualifications are required. Participants should preferably have one to two years of management experience at junior management entry level and English language competency at NQF level 4. They should have sufficient ability to read and comprehend learning material, write assignments and follow/participate in discussions on management issues.
