The certificate covers the following areas:

• "Mechanical" and electronic exhibition of performances (i.e. films, television programmes, advertisements for TV, radio, Internet, cellphone content, multimedia)
  
• Sport with spectator/entertainment value
  
• Art and fashion exhibitions (i.e. paintings, sculptures, "live performance art)
  
• Live performances in its various forms (i.e. plays, music etc)

The aim is to educate advertisers, producers, broadcasting and distributing executives, artists, and musicians about their rights and the rights of their clients:

• Less financial abuse
  
• Empowerment on individual and company level
  
• Increase in revenue opportunities and reducing of losses

While legal practitioners will enhance their service offerings to clients by attending this course, the course is not just for qualified legal practitioners alone but advertising executives from South African and abroad.
