Gold Reef City Theme Park's Tower of Terror thrill-ride was advertised on Ster Kinekor screens from the 20th June 2008 to 17th July 2008. Advertising opportunities offered by CineMARK allowed the commercial to follow particular movies, namely The Incredible Hulk, Speed Racer and College Road Trip.
By carefully selecting which movies the commercial should follow, this roller-coaster entertainment giant was able to directly and accurately target their very particular and age defined market who would be interested in riding the Tower of Terror.

The main objective was to promote the Tower of Terror during the school holidays to our primary target audience, namely students and thrill seekers.”
The adverts screened a total of 1 960 times on commercial screens in Sandton City, The Zone in Rosebank, Fourways Mall, Cresta Shopping Centre, Southgate, Lenasia, Westgate, Key West, Eastgate, East Rand Mall, Brooklyn Mall and Centurion Mall.
