The Baby Expo Joburg, held at the beginning of the year saw a 4% increase in visitor numbers with 28 230 visitors attending the show despite the global recession and South Africa's own troubles. Exhibition Director, Projeni Pather, says, “many exhibitors reported anywhere between a 50% to 400% increase in sales from last year, which is more important to us than the visitor numbers. Our winning formula once again is to deliver the right visitor to our exhibitors.” The Baby Expo Durban shows potential to be as successful or even more so, with over 5000 tickets purchased already.
