This leading lifestyle show goes local this year, the Local Rocks theme celebrates everything that is local and all that makes us proudly east coasters. With a homegrown view, exhibitors will be showcasing home and lifestyle goods available on the east coast, taking a renewed look at local inspiration.

With 100 000 shoppers in 10 days, this is the must-do one-stop shopping event on the east coast. Fitting in perfectly with your busy lifestyle it places more than 300 different ‘stores' under one roof for your convenience.

A new addition to the show this year is the Local Rocks Hall, designed to give exposure to local talent and entrepreneurs. Smaller, less established businesses will be able to market their wares at the show, creating a platform for them to show off through their arts and goods from hand knitted tea-cozies to hand-made hammocks, which will also go on sale at the Local Rocks Hall.

KZN's own local master glass-maker Guido van Besouw will dazzle with his pieces that capture the local spirit and culture. With his unique style of mixing carefully selected tones together, he creates streams of glowing patterns with vibrant colour that translate into absolute craftsmanship. The ‘rockstreams' range of his studio blown décor glass, will be shown off by local interior decorator Anne York at the Show.

Also look out for a local Gemstone cutter who will cut and polish precious stones in front of you. From brilliant rubies to rare stones like the sought after Tanzanite, this craftsman will transform these stones into exquisite pieces of jewellery.
