November marked the start of a dynamic brand transformation for leading brand consultancy Enterprise IG, now known as The Brand Union. The rebrand of the WPP-owned brand agency is the outcome of a global synthesizing of the network's business processes and resources to deliver a more streamlined customer experience across The Brand Union network of more than 500 brand consultants and designers worldwide.
The initial relaunch took place in two phases, the first of which was the internal relaunch for employees and staff members on October 08 2007. The result was an outstanding success as staff were taken by surprise when entering the reception area and welcomed with branded confetti in keeping with the theme of a union – a “coming together” of 21 offices and the union of art & science and hearts & minds.
IDG worked hand in hand with The Brand Union on both occasions after which, our client had this to say:

A few weeks after the internal launch seeding, The Brand Union commissioned IDG to help them expose their new brand to clients and the industry, hosting over one hundred guests at their Sandton offices, transformed for the occasion to illustrate their commitment to becoming masters at the art and science of brand building. The décor and effects were suitably dynamic and inspiring, combining art with science: animated slideshows on plasma screens paid homage to three decades of brand building on the continent, while the blue-hued ambience was set by The Brand Union's new identity illuminating the walls via interactive projectors. As guests crossed the foyer and over an interactive fish pool in the reception, curious goldfish 'swam up' to inspect their feet.
IDG was contracted to set up and manage the event, working hand in hand with The Brand Union to transform concept into reality making the launch an outstanding success that received numerous compliments from a variety of stakeholders.
