Do business at Beauty Africa 2006

Issued by: Beauty Africa
Beauty Africa is taking place from 15 to 17 July at the Sandton Convention Centre and with a little more than three weeks until the doors officially open, anticipation and excitement is mounting as the industry gears up to do business at this premier Beauty Expo.
There is still a window of opportunity for companies interested in exhibiting at Beauty Africa 2006.

Comments Daryl Howes, Managing Director of owners and organisers of Beauty Africa, ITE South Africa: "The most important aspect of exhibiting at the show is that it places the exhibitor's products into the hands and minds of existing and potential customers and enables them to do business right on their stand."

Beauty Africa offers a prestigious platform for companies to market, demonstrate and sell their products and services to a highly focused audience of professional trade as well as consumer visitors.

Exhibitors will benefit by demonstrating and promoting their products, services and technologies to a captive audience of professionals in the hair, nail and beauty industries, while networking with the buyers, suppliers, jet-setters and trend-setters in the fabulous world of beauty.

The Beauty Africa marketing campaign comprises a powerful mix of TV, radio, focused trade, consumer and lifestyle publications, daily newspapers, outdoor advertising, internet advertising, direct mail and public relations.

The expo is extensively advertised in leading marketing, hair and beauty trade and consumer media. SA Hairdresser's Journal, Hair & Beauty Africa, Les Nouvelles Esthetiques, The Salon & Spa Guide of South Africa, Professional Beauty, Cosmeticweb, Healthspas.co.za are some of the highly focused media included.

"In addition, a high frequency awareness campaign on 94.7 Highveld Stereo and Yfm, complemented by a powerfully visible street poster and street pole campaign will add the impetus required to ensure that every marketing opportunity has been successfully secured to attract a targeted audience of hair, nail and beauty professionals," adds Howes.

To ensure that the industry is directly targeted and well informed, Beauty Africa is utilising its own database of industry professionals, as well as those of its valuable partners through the mediums of direct mailing, magazine inserts, email and sms campaigns, and that all important personal phone call inviting them to participate in this premier Beauty Expo. The databases that Beauty Africa speaks of include those of the EOHCB - The Employers Organisation for Hairdressing, Cosmetology and Beauty; HCSBC - Hairdressing & Cosmetology Services Bargaining Council ; AHBEASA - Afro Hairdressing & Beauty Employers Association of South Africa; The South African Association of Health and Skincare Professionals (SAAHSP); Les Nouvelles Esthetiques; SA Hairdresser's Journal; Cosmeticweb; Salon & Spa Guide of South Africa and Services SETA.

The prominent events and attractions include the exclusive World of Hair and World of Beauty which showcases, displays and demonstrates exhibitors' products, services, technologies and trends in the hair and beauty industries.

The Trade Show reflects the fast moving world of aesthetic beauty. This international trade show highlights professional skin care, body care and anti-aging systems, products and services.

The Beauty Africa Hairdressing Championship, the Beauty Africa Nail Championship, Beauty Africa Makeover Competition and Discom Hair Extravaganza are leading events on the beauty and hair industry calendars and have over the years become significant attractions for both consumer and trade visitors.

For the first time ever, Beauty Africa together with essentials magazine will host an interactive studio where hundreds of workshop guests will get the low-down on skincare, body care, image and wellness from some of the industry's experts and premier brands.

Beauty Africa will also host several seminars on a diverse range of topics for professionals or consumers who'd like to learn more about the secrets of eternal beauty.
