Ads24, together with Gauteng Business, a Media24 publication, launched a creative interactive campaign this week aimed at media agencies that aims to gain and increase awareness of the Gauteng based SME newspaper.
Starting on Monday, June 11, media agencies across the country were invited to play the game of ‘Gauteng Business Metropoly' via an introductory e-mail which explained the game and competition. This was followed by Ads24 AE's visiting media agencies to deliver copies of Gauteng Business along with a printed version of the Metropoly game.
Armed with this information, players started playing Gauteng Business Metropoly on Wednesday. The two winners will win a GPS each. Other lucky draw prizes for final winners include Gauteng Business hampers which contain USB's and pen sets.
Metropoly, which is similar to well-known board game Monopoly, encompasses the slick and high quality look and feel that is associated with SME newspaper Gauteng Business. Tiaan Ras, Manager of Marketing and Media Intelligence at Ads24, says, “We are encouraging busy media planners, strategists and buyers to play the game of Metropoly and in turn experience a fun and different way to gain information on just one of the many print products to which they are exposed. The game is quick and easy to play and we hope it will make for an educated break from the norm.”
The game of Gauteng Business Metropoly was the brainchild of design agency Red Ink who is handling all entries and web-based elements of the competition.
The campaign runs until Tuesday, 19 June 2007.
