Produced by Curious Pictures, Seduction101 is distributed as downloadable podcasts, and streaming video via both the web and WAP. It is also the first mobile series to be distributed via MXit.

“It's a huge honour to be selected to present Seduction 101 at MIPCOM,” said M-Net head of new media, Jason Probert. “More than 100 entries were received from all around the world, and it shows that we are at the cutting edge of new media initiatives.

“We've been blown away by the success of Seduction 101 and are in the process of commissioning a number of other cross-media projects,” he adds.

Seduction101 is a 13-week minisoap with a storyline that focuses on an unrequited love quadrangle set on campus. Ryan, the campus geek, is obsessed with Zoe, the campus princess. She in turn is in love with Monde, the campus player - who is trying to seduce Lindi, the campus feminist (who is after Ryan...). Each of the main characters also has a blog, which is updated weekly, where viewers can interact with them. The project also has a Facebook widget, where users can upload and rate seduction tips.
