New opportunities for Paarl Media managers in 2008
Issued by: Paarl Media

The Paarl Media Group, one of South Africa's largest and most dynamic printing groups, has announced three management moves in support of its strategy of developing its people and maximising the ability to deliver on the requirements of clients.

Conrad Rademeyer

Christoff Botha

Chris Snyman
The General Manager of newspaper and printing operation, Paarl Post, for almost three years, Conrad Rademeyer now joins Paarl Web, the glossy magazine printing plant, as Managing Director.

Christoff Botha, previously Managing Director of Paarl Web, has been promoted to Managing Director of South Africa's largest commercial and magazine publication gravure printer, Paarl Gravure.

Previously the Managing Director of Paarl Gravure, Chris Snyman moves into an executive director role at Paarl Media Holdings. Chris has been in key positions in the Group for more than 20 years - first as General Manager of Paarl Post, then as Managing Director for Paarl Web before taking over the reins at Paarl Gravure in 2005.

Commenting on these management moves, Chief Executive Officer Stephen van der Walt says: “We are pleased to have such talented leaders on our team and we view it as crucial to be able to offer them further development, while harnessing their obvious strengths within the Group. We are proud to see our leaders grow and resume new responsibilities as their level of knowledge and ability increases within the Group.

“Business will continue as usual at these plants where new management will take over during a smooth transition period between April and June this year,” concludes Van der Walt.
