Highveld, KFM bring Enrique Iglesias

94.7 Highveld Stereo, 94.5 Kfm and Big Concerts announced yesterday, Wednesday, 29 August 2007, that they are bringing singing sensation and multi-million-album seller Enrique Iglesias back to South Africa. The talented singer will be performing at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on 21 October and at Grand West's Grand Arena in Cape Town, on 25 October.

Primedia Broadcasting's group music programme manager Ravi Naidoo says, “Enrique is one of the most successful contemporary pop artists over the last five years. His appeal crosses both youth and adult markets, and is a core artist to both 94.7 Highveld Stereo and 94.5 Kfm. Enrique has featured consistently and highly on both station playlists, and we're very excited to be bringing this international superstar to SA.”

Iglesias has two Grammys, five World Music and three American Music Awards and more under his belt, and has sold 40 million albums in little over a decade, becoming one of the most successful artists in the history of popular music.

He is renowned for his charismatic live performance and for his ability to establish a rapport with his fans, keeping them on their feet from first song to last. Over 40 000 fans had that experience during his previous SA tour in 2004.
