Algoa love doctor moves to drivetime

The departure of Buli G next month to 94.7 Highveld Stereo has opened the Algoa FM lunch-hour for veteran jock, Selwyn Willis, to take over the reigns of this popular slot between noon to 3pm daily, the station announced earlier this week.

Willis has been with the station since 2001 and previously hosted the Love Zone between 9pm and 12am. Known for his friendly demeanour and comfortable presentation style and with several years of radio experience, he is expected to add a few special features to the slot.

“This is an opportune time for us to refresh our presenter line up and Selwyn is all revved up and ready to rock ‘n roll at lunch,” said Alfie Jay, Algoa FM programme manager.

Algoa FM is in the process of negotiating with the presenters and more changes are expected to take place soon.
