Kitchen design mag honoured
KBB Design magazine, sister magazine to Plumbing Africa, was last week awarded the title of ‘Best Affiliate Member' of the Kitchen Specialists Association (KSA) at its AGM. KBB Design is a trade and technical publication serving the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom contractor and design sector in South Africa.
The KSA is an independent non-profit association formed as a controlling body for the kitchen industry and represents a broad sector of the kitchen and affiliated industries.
“Being recognised by the industry we serve is tremendous encouragement for the
KBB Design team.
KBB Design is a very different publication in that the editorial topics are covered in great detail and thoroughly researched thus catering for the broad reader base,” said Rory Macnamara, Editor. “Well done to the KBB team.”
Ordinary members of the KSA – these being kitchen related manufacturers, dealers and designers – were required to vote for affiliate members they felt had given exceptional service to ordinary members during 2007.
The top five affiliates were:
KBB Design magazine, followed by TTS Tooltechnic Systems, Best Italia, Devin Cabinets Doors and in fifth place, Top Rock Granite and Marble.
Aimed at ‘bridging the gap between designer and contractor' each edition of
KBB Design focuses, through extensively researched editorial, on both design considerations and technical aspects so that both disciplines may work in tandem.
The AGM took place on Wedneday, 2 April 2008.
