CareerJunction launches new CV technology

CareerJunction's recently launched CV2Resume converts CVs from a variety of formats into a professional online resume in a matter of minutes, using a sophisticated resume parsing technology that has allegedly only just become available in South Africa.

Career seekers are now quickly able to import their original CV, whether in Word, PDF or other text-based format, and the new artificial intelligence tagging technology will read and extract information from the resume, converting it into the CareerJunction database configuration and automatically populating a new Resume4Life.

"The advantage of an online resume is that it is matched more accurately in resume searches, giving career seekers a much greater chance of being found by recruiters who specialise in matching people to job specifications," explains Kris Jarzebowski, MD and founder of CareerJunction. "This makes it one of the most reliable CV parsing technologies available."

Once career seekers have completed their online Resume4Life, they have the chance to select if they would like to be searchable by recruiters in candidate searches. "This ensures that their confidentiality is always assured and maintained," continues Jarzebowski.

According to the recruitment portal, over the last seven years the CareerJunction Resume4Life has become the South African online standard for building a concise resume, recognised by over 700 agencies in South Africa as well as many employers.
