Bookings for the 2008 SAMRA Conference, which is set to take place on 27 and 28 of May 2008 at the Royal Swazi Sun and Spa in the Ezulwini Valley in Swaziland, are coming in fast.
The conference aims to bring together researchers, research users and marketers from all over Southern Africa with the objective of developing and advancing marketing research in the region by showcasing new trends and developments in the industry.
Twenty exciting papers have been selected for presentation at the conference, and these, together with three international guest speakers – Nigel Hollis (Chief Global Analyst at Millward Brown), Rory Morgan (Global Marketing Sciences Director at Research International) and James Fergusson (Strategic Head of Sectors for the ALM region at TNS) - are certain to make this the not-to-be-missed event for the research industry in 2008.
With early-bird bookings closing on 31 January and the conference already more than 20% full, delegates who wish to attend the conference are encouraged to book as soon as possible as space is limited.
There has also been significant interest from research suppliers hoping to exhibit at the conference. SPSS-SA and Spatial Technologies have snapped up two of the five exhibitor spots on offer. SPSS-SA will be exhibiting software designed for organisations involved in data collection and analysis, and Spatial Technologies will be exhibiting spatial intelligence software solutions and services.
