Moonstruck with music and moonbeams

On Saturday, 9 February, 567 CapeTalk's Moonstruck with BP Express will once again bring Capetonians together on Clifton 4th Beach for an evening of music and family fun – without alcohol, however.

Parents, children, siblings and friends are invited to come together to enjoy excellent music under the stars while in the company of 567 CapeTalk personalities, breakfast show host Aden Thomas, afternoon presenter Lisa Chait and Talk at Nine presenter Kieno Kammies.

The station welcomes listeners at 6pm where-after a session band will entertain with the Top 20 hits of the past three decades until 9pm. Favourite hits like Billy Joel's “Piano Man” and Van Morrison's “Brown Eyed Girl,” as voted for by listeners will fill the air.

Beachgoers are invited to get to the venue early with their picnic baskets and blankets, but are reminded that alcohol is not permitted on the beach.

New to this year's Moonstruck is a special area for children with face painters and balloon clowns forming part of the entertainment.

Entrance to Moonstruck is free for all. 567 CapeTalk listeners are encouraged to support the National Sea Rescue Institute and NSRI volunteers who will be selling candles on the night to raise much-needed funds.
