Mobile media ad-venture

Film and TV animation producer Emma Kaye has left her position as CEO of Breakdesign to open her own new media shop specializing in the mobile and entertainment sectors. The venture kicks off later in 2007 with the first African film festival for mobile phones.

Founder of the Animation Festival housed within the Sithengi Film Festival, Kaye is best known for her pioneer work in the South African animation and new media fields. A veteran of the film industry and co-founder of Triggerfish Animation, she produced many award-winning commercials for the South African television market and was also responsible for such programs as Takalani Sesame, the largest animation initiative in South Africa to date.
