On 10 July Digicape is holding a free workshop for photographers and designers who'd like to get to grips wih the ins and outs of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Wildlife photographer Michael Poliza will take an hour's in-depth look at Lightroom and Mohammed Jogie from Adobe will be demonstrating Photoshop techniques followed by Q&A.
Michael Poliza was an early convert to digital photography. He spends the bulk of his time photographing in the remote wildernesses of the world and recently published THE ESSENTIAL AFRICA. He aims to demonstrate the workflow of a typical photoshoot. Michael says, “My workflow has changed dramatically since Lightroom. It has made my life a lot easier.” Some of the Lightroom features he'll cover are how to import from memory cards, sorting and selecting, advanced keywording, developing and copying settings from one image to others, using collections, and preparing a website.
Mohammed Jogie is a practising designer and Adobe Design Evangelist. He is well-known in the industry for his entertaining presentations. He will be looking at all the features of Photoshop CS3 from a photographer's perspective.
