Minister of Social Development, Dr Zola Skweyiya, will open the Business Day Kaelo Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference to be held from 2 - 4 June at the Spier Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. The conference, which is the first of its kind in South Africa, will bring together experts from the developing world to discuss the effect of CSR in the region.
“I am delighted to be opening the Business Day Kaelo CSR Conference,” says Minister Zola Skweyiya, “Conferences of this calibre that specifically look at addressing development issues in the region and the role of corporate interventions therein, play an important role in furthering the social development agenda of our country, as key stakeholders and leading experts gather together, learning from each other and sharing valuable insights into the unique challenges our continent faces.”
“We are honoured to be hosting the minster at our welcome function on Sunday 1 June,” says Sandile Koza, Managing Director of Kaelo Worldwide Media. “His presence at the function will certainly set the tone for the conference and support our vision, which is to move the CSR investment versus impact debate forward while addressing unique African development issues.”
