Loerie Awards 2003 - Winners

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Loerie Awards and the inaugural year of its hosting under the banner of the Marketing Federation of Southern Africa (MFSA).

Jabu Mabuza, chairman of the Marketing Federation of South Africa, voiced his concern that the Loerie Awards should award ads that are meaningful to the majority of the South African population and not only to the white English-speaking segment.

Robert Campbell, international chairman of the judging panel, commented on the weak South African flavour of ads and to him it seemed like ads were created to win awards at the top international competitions.
