Black owned Wireless Business Solutions (WBS) recently partnered with image and brand design company, 8seconds, to position the company and its technology brands in South Africa.

WBS was established to provide mobile data network services to meet corporate, government and domestic requirements, and implemented the backbone network behind the National Lottery, providing nationwide wireless data services covering 95% of the population. With a mission to unshackle broadband in this country, WBS is rolling out commercial wireless broadband data network using iBurst technology to allow customers high-speed access to the Internet wherever and whenever they want.

WBS shareholders include the South African National Civics Organisation (Sanco) and the National Union of Metal Workers of South Africa (NUMSA).

8seconds has communicated the brand's vision this with a corporate advertisement which uses the concept: 'power to the people'.

The image and brand design company will also assist in managing brand activities for WBS' roll out of iBurst in South Africa, in what will be the second implementation of iBurst in the world following the successful launch of the technology in Australia earlier this year.

8seconds is the brand partner for this technology and is focussing on presence branding and retail branding solutions to meet iBurst's brand objectives.
