New accounts for Burns Strategic Planning
Burns Strategic Planning has landed several blue-chip accounts in the last few months including Nedgroup Investments, Engen, Johnnic Communications, Foskor and accounting firm Moores Rowland.

They have just completed a brand strategy for Distell, the global liquor company, and are now implementing a communications plan to ensure that full value is derived from the strategy.

Burns Strategic Planning was launched five years ago by Johnny Johnson and Kate Clayton. Johnny has 20 years in advertising in senior positions at Ogilvy, Young & Rubicam, TBWA and Saatchi's. Kate has a background in public relations that culminated as MD of international communications consultancy Lowe Bull & Mann Cape Town.

Burns is in the process of opening an office in Johannesburg.
