The 2010 Institute of Practitioners in Advertising Best of Health Awards; the worldwide creative awards for communications aimed at healthcare professionals, or healthcare messages to consumers, is now open for entries until Friday, 9 April 2010.

Frikkie Cornelius has been appointed CEO of Primedia Africa, effective 1 March 2010. Originally promoted to general manager of the then Primedia Outdoor Africa Division in January 2008, Cornelius has been with the company's Out of Home Division since 1994.

The new corporate identity for the outdoor advertising company, previously known as INM Outdoor, was unveiled at a function at Montecasino last night, Thursday, 21 January 2010. The new name for the business is Continental Outdoor Media. 
The MTN Ekasi TV sites are screening the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola games live. The first permanent big screen TV went up in Diepsloot in December 2007 and the project now consists of 19 sites across the country. 
Malawi's third mobile phone service provider, G-Mobile, has recently entered into a partnership with Alliance Media, Malawi and Africa's largest airport and outdoor media company to install billboards across the country, in the run up to its launch.
