Ubuntu Festival to build on World Cup geesHarnessing the gees brought about by the FIFA World Cup, the Ubuntu Festival will start on Friday, 16 July, 2010, and will run until the celebration of Mandela Day on Sunday, 18 July (Nelson Mandela's 92nd birthday). The Sexpo Joburg 2010 will be held at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand between 30 September and 3 October 2010. A wide variety of adult entertainment will be supported by more than 150 exhibitors showcasing a wide array of products and services.
The Gaydar.co.za Fireman's Ball, powered by 5FM, will be held in Johannesburg on Saturday, 2 October 2010. The venue has yet to be announced.
For two weeks between 23 August and 6 Spetember, 2010, the convict continent will loaning us the outrageous comedian Kevin Bloody Wilson, who will be touring Joburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Port Elizabeth, East London and Nelspruit.
While the FIFA World Cup was taking place another footballing contest, the Bud House, was also happening at the Shelley Point Hotel, Spa & Country Club on the Cape West Coast.
